Strategy: Show, don’t tell when marketing to other creatives. They need to be opened up for advice.

Solution: Present The Script Department as an open door to getting your script the greenlight.

It started with solidifying the company's visual identity.

Then the web site and collateral:

Then this posting with business cards attached which went on bulletin boards in LA coffee shops and cafés.

Then, in addition to things like CafePress.com merch and trade show booth banners, this major print campaign for the screenwriting trade rags (click on each to expand).

Followed by banners (rollover to play).

Result: During the planned five-month marketing blitz, orders increased 25-60% YOY . The company was eventually absorbed by partner Julie Gray of Just Effing Entertain Me.
